On November 20, SI-Hyderabad was born, thanks to the dynamic and untiring efforts of NASI PAC, Rema Ramchandran, also an SIB member.
“A few phone calls, some whatsapp messages and a couple of meetings helped to bring together 34 like-minded women from different age groups, backgrounds and professions; all looking to contribute to society through advocacy, awareness and action in areas of women and children,” said the President, Deepika.
They have already kickstarted small but effective projects representing sustainable development goals or SDGs of SI. The quality partners that have been identified included Yuvatha, LVPEI, Goonj and Health Engineer.
