Rukmini Vijaykumar and her troupe set fire to the dark, dusky evening of June 23rd in Beautiful Bengaluru. SIB organized ‘The Goddess’, a Bharatnatyam dance performance by the Radha Kalpa production troupe at the packed auditorium of almost a 1,000 spectators at the Prestige Centre for Performing Arts (PCPA).
Rukmini’s dance troupe beamed the divine messages of Kali, Durga and Devi, electrifying an audience that had arrived all the way from the suburbs of the city to enjoy the experience.
“This was a mesmerizing evening,” said an 80-year-old woman, whose face glowed with happiness. “I loved the emotional experience of dancing with Rukmini Vijaykumar in my heart.”
The show was widely covered in many TV channels and the Bangalore Mirror, helping to spread SIB’s message of women’s empowerment and education.
