“Rema Ramachandran, NASI membership & extension officer called me to start the 15th club… Her sheer passion … and her strong conviction in me and my ability to lead…made me move forward,” said President of Hyderabad, Deepika, on November 16, the inaugural day of the newest club.
It was a proud day for SIB when its member started a new club with 34 passionate women in an important city.
Their projects, in collaboration with NGOs Yuvatha, LVPEI and Goonj include audio tapes for the visually challenged, books for the disabled and collection drives of old clothes, utensils and books for donation.
Indeed, it was a proud day for both the Bangalore and Hyderabad club members.
