Four desktops donated

At Garima, SIB’s cosy adda, desktops were donated to four girls from underprivileged sections, on November 27th. They included two children from school, a student from a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and an engineering student. An SIB member helped to get the computers from Management RV College.

One girl who got a computer also received financial assistance from SIB for three years during her engineering degree course. It was SIB’s special moment of joy to hear the Bachelor of Engineering student communicate her success story. Apart from being a consistently high scorer in her exams, she also got a job in Cognizant. She wrote:

“I’m happy to inform you that I am placed at “Cognizant technology Solutions” through campus placement. I will be onboarding after completion of 8th semester. Thank you for helping me financially to pay my tuition fees these years and also for the desktop. I’ll be grateful to you ma’am.”

She was also a source of happiness to SIB, which has understood that it has educated, enabled and empowered a girl who needed assistance.
